Mingora and Saidu Sharif,
situated at an altitude of 3250 feet above sea level, the twin cities of Mingura and Saidu Sharif are called the commercial and administrative capitals of Swat respectively. 159 km from Peshawar,
Mungoura Valley is the largest business center of Swat. Whereas in Saidu Sharif, apart from all the government offices, PIDC’s Moel and Information Center are there. In Saydu Sharif is the shrine of Hazrat Akhund Syed and
Baba came to the place of Saydu and settled permanently. These Valians are also hereditary chiefs of Swat. Saidu Baba died in 1877 and was buried at the present place. And his magnificent tomb was built. Wali Swat Palace
