Karachi Zoo is the second largest zoo in Pakistan after Lahore.
Established in 1878, this zoo was earlier known as
Mahatma Gandhi Garden. After the creation of Pakistan,
its name was changed to Karachi Zoo. Mughal Garden,
Veterinary Hospital and Karachi Municipal Aquarium
are also part of this building. Be sure to ride
an elephant whenever you go. In 1992,
the Japanese princess visited the
Natural History Museum here.
