Jacobabad Sindh

Jacobabad is the district and tehsil headquarters of Sindh province and also has a city with the same name. Fifty kilometers from Shikarpur, Jacobabad is located on the Sukkur-se highway, near the border of Sindh and Balochistan. Jacobabad is located in the hottest region of Pakistan. Where the temperature in summer exceeds 52 degree centigrade. Its name was Khangarh. Later, in return for the services of the British ruler General John Jacob for this area

 

Jacobabad was named. The residence and mausoleum of Brigadier General Jacob John, who died on 26 September 1858, are beautiful buildings. Fine example of Kashi nail work work Bukhari Mosque Kalhoda Adur unique style of architecture Old grand mosque with three domes, two minarets, three big and many small domes regional style Kote Jango Mosque, Dove cote Fakhta Durb, built in 1911 Jama Masjid Asto Bhald Sinu, Victoria Tower and the blue colored tile work are some of the notable buildings.
