Empress Market Karachi
Before the construction of the market, this place was used as a gallows.
This market was built to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Silver Jubilee.
Gothic style has been adopted in its architecture.
It is not only a market but also an example of the heyday of the
British era and an ancient symbol. In the center of Karachi,
dry fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. are easily available.
With a 140 feet high clock tower, this market is imposing.
The magnificent building of the Sindh High Court of local and
Roman architecture is also worth seeing.
