Shingardar Stupa

Before his death, Buddha instructed his followers that after his death, King Atris of Swat should be given his ashes and a share of his blessings. After the death of the Buddha,
Raja Uttara took his share and placed it on a white decorated elephant and left for Swat. When the white elephant approached Galige in Swat, the elephant fell down and died.
Raja Uttaran was built in the same place on the sto. Where the elephant died. That stupa is still in excellent condition with a burlap strick at the Fingerdar place
