Chitral Gol National Park was proclaimed a natural life
haven in 1979 and a National Park in 1984. This 7750-hectare
the territory lies only west of the Town of Chitral, incorporating
the watershed of Chitral Gol. Chitral Gol National Park is
encircled by high Hindukush tops and is a living space of
various natural life-like Kashmir Markhor, Ibex, Snow Leopard,
Lynx, Chakor, Ram Chakor, Pheasant, and an enormous assortment
of birds and wild creatures. The public bird of Pakistan,
the Chakor, a National creature of Pakistan, Markhor,
the National blossom Jasmin, and the National Tree,
Diyar is likewise found in Chitral Gol National Park.
